To access Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training you will need to Sign Up to the training website.
This is a quick and simple process. The video will show you how to:
- Sign up
- Start and complete the course
- Register for and attend your tutorial
Please note that the login and sign-up functions do not work if you are using Internet Explorer.

These courses consist of e-learning content and tutorials.
The e-learning content should ideally be completed prior to tutorials, however, it can be completed after.
All parts of the course need to be completed for the certification to be awarded.
Please complete the surveys, located at different the start and end of the course.
How to register for a tutorial
1. Log in to the Training website
2. You will be taken to the homepage and the courses will appear automatically. Select the course as highlighted. This process will need to be completed for each course.
3. At the start of the course you will need to complete the pre-course survey before selecting ‘Complete and continue’ to proceed to the Tutorial registration page.
4. On the tutorial registration page, all the available sessions will be displayed. To register to one, select the ‘register’ button under your chosen session.
5. Once selected the button will turn grey and the other available sessions will no longer be visible.
6. You can add the session to your personal calendar by selecting the highlighted button on the right. Please note, you CANNOT join your tutorial session from your personal calendar. Only the calendar on the training site.
7. You need to change session, select the now grey ‘unregister’ button. Alternative sessions will reappear and you can register for a different session.
1. Select your calendar on the homepage
2. Select your tutorial session on the calendar
3. When the session information pops up, select Join – zoom will open automatically. The button becomes active 15 minutes before and after the session start time.
